Cycling for students´mobility?! That is Ride for your rights indeed!

Yes, you are reading it right. It is possible to cycle with further aim than to get to from the place A to the place B. Team of Ride for your rights is cycling from 15th of July until 6th of September from Vienna to Ankara also for your rights.

On Monday, 15th of July during first day of Citizens of 2020 Tour whole team stopped by in Bratislava, where it was warmly welcomed by European dialogue of perspective attitude. Also MEP Monika Flašíková-Beňová attended and supported the whole meeting on the court of the House of Europe.

Project was founded by Students´ council of Campus Europae. Campus Europae with headquarters in Luxemburg merges universities in many european countries. It was students of this organisation led by Julian Walkowiak, who started to cycle for promoting students´ mobility, active citizenship and strenghtening of european values. This third year also promotes and supports European citizens iniciative FRATERNITÉ 2020. The member of team is also Prof. Wojciech Wolf, vice- president of Campus Europae . The route begins in Vienna and goes through Bratislava, Maribor, Pecs, Novi Sad, Beograd, Sofia, Plovdiv, Burgas, Istanbul, Bursa and ends in Ankara . Eeveryone who feels like supproting all the ideas is welcomed to join the group and to experience this adventure.

Team always carries with himself the “ Bike of Honour“, which is a place for signatures of people who support this project. Last years´ bike was signed for example by Martin Schulz, president of the European parliament and Maroš Šefčovič, vice-president of European commision for inter-institutional relations and administrative. This year in Bratislava MEP Monika Flašíková-Beňová had an opportunity to support cyclists with signature. The tradition is that every person who signs the bike has to ride it too. MEP Monika Flašíková-Beňová was truly pleased to also try this unique bike.

European dialogue will follow carefully Julians´ team and inform you via Facebook about their news , goals and the route of Ride for your rights.
